I am a photographer serving the Marlborough and Nelson area, and although I specialize in gorgeous Newborn, Baby & Children's portraits, I get asked to photograph weddings more and more and have come to love being part of a couples special day and capturing all the little moments, gestures, expressions and beautiful details in a fresh & artistic way.
I am a kindergarten teacher by trade, but have been managing the local photo lab for a few years, before making my dream of running my own photography business come true early this year.
I am completely self taught in photography, and have been in love with this medium since I was 16 years old and got my first own SLR camera. Many courses, books and hours of practising and learning later, I am now so grateful to be able to create very special and lasting memories with and for families.
My style
I would describe my style as fresh, modern and artistic, with an eye for detail and magic moments.
I love stunning and timeless black and white conversions, and creating beautiful images using textures and tones to suit different moods. A lot of work goes into post processing, to bring out the best in each image.
I will work with you in a relaxed and fun manner and am more than happy to bring your own ideas to life in personal and meaningful images.
